This site belongs to Carl Eugene Kinsella, author, publishing as KFT Publishing. This page explains what I collect when you join my mailing list and what I do with it.

What I collect

Your email address, and your name if you give it. When you open or click my emails, the email service records that too, along with basic technical details such as approximate location and device type.

Why

To send you the emails you signed up for: news about my books and the occasional note about what I’m writing. Nothing else.

Who handles it

My mailing list is run on MailerLite, which stores your details and sends the emails. I don’t sell, rent or share your details with anyone else.

Your choices

  • Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off the list.
  • You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing carl@carleugenekinsella.com.

This website

The site uses the Pinterest Tag, a small piece of code from Pinterest that sets cookies so I can see whether my Pinterest posts and ads bring people here. It records which pages you visit and whether you join the mailing list. It doesn’t send Pinterest your email address or name. Pinterest uses this information under its own privacy policy, including to show ads, and you can turn off ad personalisation in your Pinterest privacy settings or block cookies in your browser.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the signup form is provided by MailerLite, so those services may see your IP address when the page loads.
